Whilst I have not specifically done this, I would fully expect it to work.
The zone itself has no specific dependency on hardware features to be implemented (in the way that, say, an LDOM would if you wanted to live migrate it), so assuming your patch levels etc were all good, I would fully expect it to work.
Indeed, both platforms are sun4v architecture, so again, I'd expect no 'platform' related issues.
