Mr. Potosi,
As one who reputedly has holes in his knowledge, I had wanted to ascertain just what the facts are. However, I am a bit disappointed though not terribly surprised, that you do not see where the Gestapo ends etc. -- which is clearly laid out in the capsule I attached.
Anyhow, the point is: the Gestapo was a desipicable unit period. Just as was Amin's Bureau of State Research. Do you consider the activities of Josephe Mengele's (German) or "Butabika", "No Parking", "Razorblade" etc (all of Amin's Uganda) as "service to country" (and therefore not criminal)? What, to you, consitutes abuse of power?
More importantly -- and not "sidetracked from the issues at home":
1. was your friend Mr. Opoka or yourself, ever a member of any intelligence unit in any government of Uganda; and if so, which ones?
2. was Rigby's letter a true depiction of life in Uganda under Obote I?
3. How, where and when did Apollo Nsibambi sabotage Uganda's youth and prevented them from writing their own O/S, as you claim below?

Bro J. Ssemakula, I have glanced through your attachment!! Thanks for the info!! There seems to have been so many changes in Hitler's forces, it is confusing where the Gestapo ends and other organs start. All dictators are constantly changing their command, may be for fear of assassination.
We can debate this issue, about which forces were from which barracks in NAZI Germany but arent we getting sidetracked from the issues at home, as I feared from the start? When we agree that "it is never a crime to serve ones country", that's enough for me!!
Today I was installing the Linux O/S - SuSe. When it was done I aimlessly started the 'vi' editor. I was hit by a pop-up-menu asking us to help the "the poor children of Uganda". I was very suprised indeed why one would put this as the first message from a newly installed Operating System!! Uganda's youth were supposed to write their O/S, if it hadn't been for sabotage by Apollo Nsibambi. Now we are only objects of pity!! Sad indeed. Thank you Bro Ssemakula. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Ivinicus factus sum veritabem diceus."
