Diamonds were discovered in Kimberly, South Africa, around 1860.
Ever since, the whole MALE population of South Africa (Southern Africa) has lived and
died in (for) these diamond mines.
This blood-sucking deformed the whole social setup of the region.
The skeltoral black public service in the 'Bantustans' is/was manned by women.
It was mostly women you found in the Bantu-Education system as the men were down in the mines.
Women are the breadwinners. They are the heads of families, as the men are/were let out of the
mine compounds for only a few days on Xhrismas and Easter.
For close to two hundred years the sweat and blood of these men generated wealth for the Openheimer family.
For a long period since WW2 Harry Openheimer was the richest individual on earth.
He was at the apex of another form of a very vicious slavery. This slavery of the black man has never ended.
It is only, constantly, changing form.
Tell me if this is not wealth from "blood diamonds".
The guy used to sit in the Apartheid parliament as an opposition member, while the Boers run
the government. (The Openheimers are Jews)
This is strange because there have always been two powers in S.A. i.e. the Govt. and
Harry Openheimer. When you saw helicopters and other machines of war in the skies of S.A. they
either belonged to the Govt. or H. Openheimer.
The man was just trying to play 'liberal' while sucking our blood!
In Angola where there are even more diamonds, at first, whole areas were fenced off to prevent
Africans from picking up these ALLUVIAL diamonds. This, apparently was not enough.
So the diamond companies decided to seed the whole landscape with land mines, again to prevent
Africans from picking up these ALLUVIAL diamonds.
How many innocent have been killed or maimed?
How many more will meet the same fate in the next 1000 years?
Yes, some have said that to remove and excavate all these land mines will take about a thousand years.
When the late Princess Diana visited these areas, she could not help but freek out.
In her outburst to urge the ordinary British people to take on the slave master, she sealed her fate.
(Diana had to die).
So when they tell you that the Charles Taylor, Campore, Savimbi, Museveni, Kagame,
Kabila etc... are fueling wars using "blood diamonds", they are just simply talking your language
while they persue a completely opposite agenda!!
Indeed to protect Africans from the deaths resulting from the scramble for diamonds, our best
hope would be to flood the market with diamonds and bring down the value of these gems.
By the way, do I understand J. Ssemakula correctly when he alludes that may be we were better
off under colonialism? That would be a very reactionary and backward position to adopt.
Imperilism has never even ended!
The Musevenis, Campore, Mobutu Moi etc... are just the new "nyamparas" of the same vicious vampires.
