Create jobs, Kabaka advises
By Josephine Maseruka
Kabaka Ronald Mutebi has advised graduates in technical education to be job creators rather than job seekers if they are to make use of their acquired skills.
The Kabaka also stressed the importance of technical education, saying it is one of the solutions to the rampant unemployment among the educated youth.
The Kabakas fatherly advice was contained in his speech read by his young brother prince David Wassajja at the first graduation ceremony of the Buganda royal Institute of Business and technical Education at the Kakeeka campus in Mengo on Saturday.
The institute was founded by the Kabaka. It offers diplomas and certificates in various disciplines.
Mutebi urged parents to encourage their children to take technical subjects.
