Hullo Everyone

I am called David Ewaku and work with The Life in Africa Foundation
in Uganda. We are currently biulding a new industry platform that we
hope wilol enable people from around the world especially Africa get
more utility from the internet and its use.

We are basing our model on the E-gold system in that we intend to
mobilise and enable people from Africa and around the world use, save
and trade using E-gold. We are a small team with diverse beliefs
(Islam, christianity and some do not really belong anywhere)

Many of the websites are not yet up due to some technical
difficulties e.g. Our internet connection is down about 80% of the
time and we end up being unable to do much.

E-gold for us is the future and we feel that people should come
together on a platform of understanding and promote its use around
the world as Gold is a universal currency.

THe biggest problem we have encountered so far with the current E-
gold system is that its calculation will be hard for many people to
decode. For example we in Uganda use Uganda shillings and this is the
currency the people around understand. Converting this price to gold
without an simple automated system inbiult will be very hard. Right
now we have to first convert it to dollars and then to gold. The
average website visitor does not usually have such patience and a
local Ugandan will find this complicated. This can be assumed of
people of people around Africa and the rest of the world that does
not deal in Dollars.

We do not believe we can get the world onto E-gold right now as it is
a long process but feel that in order to get there faster people must
be able to see and use E-gold locally in their local communities. For
example this means they must be able know the value of there E-gold
in Shillings and as time goes on then Gold will become more familiar
and they will feel more comfortable in just using it.

Currently being developed at our think tank in Uganda are a series of
programs to revolutionalise the way the internet is used today. We
believe everyone needs help and no criteria exists to say a person
does not.

Micro-Success: The Universal Personal Web-Sight. Micro-Success is
designed to serve as an all-in-one vehicle for self expression and
discovery, the showcasing of products and ideas, and fostering the
success of projects and people whose work the site owner believes in.

Twelve templated versions of the Micro-Success product are currently
under development, ranging from the Micro-Visionary to the Micro-
Merchant to the Micro-Child. Each site's functionality is designed on
the premise that everyone needs help. Rather than boast of
accomplishments, the Micro-Success product places a premium on how we
help each other to get ahead. Linkages within the LiA4 (Africa) and
global Micro-Success communities are designed to reinforce and
multiply the poverty alleviation impact of each transaction.

For example:

--> A small-scale Micro-Artisan who manufactures peanut butter in
Africa could sell her peanut butter to international website visitors
for delivery to a local orphanage.

--> The leader of a community-based poultry development project in
Africa could use his Micro-Success site to indicate the project's
needs. Website visitors would be directed to the Micro-Success sites
of local vendors, where they can purchase chicks, feed, and building
materials to be delivered to the project directly.

--> International website visitors can purchase toys from local
merchants, to be delivered to children at Christmas by a local
organization.

In addition to developing the Micro-success web-sight product, LiA is
currently developing a number of domains that are designed to
supplement the product for African clients.

The new LiA4 sites currently under development include:

--> www.Micro-success.com

Micro-success.com will run as a search engine directory for all of
the micro-success sites hosted at various domains.

--> www.LiA4Uganda.com

The world's first ever Micro-Impact Market, LiA4Uganda will be home
to Ugandan owned Micro-Success sites and a directory of local shops
and development service providers enabled for online purchases via e-
gold.

--> www.Visions4Africa.com

Targeted to the African audience continent-wide, Visions 4 Africa is
designed to be a collection point for recording the numerous visions
that God has been sending to Africa. The site's directory will be
organized allowing the user to categorize their vision according to
the Universal Harvest Principles, the form the vision was received
in, manifestations of the vision in the real world, and links to
their own work or the work of others that is helping the vision to
become real.

--> www.Click4Africa.com

Initially to target the Home Based Business market on-line,
Click4Africa issues a call to mobilize people into fun-filled healing
action for the global soul. Participants receive training on how to
incorporate simple promotional actions for the needy into their daily
online routine. The Click4Africa reward system is based on "bananas,"
which are like points earned for doing good deeds. Bananas can be
traded in for locally made (Ugandan) prizes.

I4C will be a certifying body which trains and certifies agents to
create micro-success web-sights for African rural and urban clients,
and plug them into the rest of the LiA complex of promotional and
development oriented domains listed above. I4C will also be a
publishing house for internet content to be reproduced in offline
formats for up-country distribution.

Within the next 6 months, an anticipated 100 initial I4C agents will
be mobilized and trained to begin bringing the Ugandan market online.
These same agents, as well as volunteers recruited internationally
will also begin building the first I4C rural center in Uganda.

We are reaching out and telling the world who we are

P/S: Africa's future lies not in licking her wounds and crying over
the past and negative things around us. We must join hands and start
thinking of peace biulding. Western Civilization through their laws
concetrate on "Do not do this or that" But with peace biulding we
must reach out and want to have change.
Many of us do not have the inner belief or faith that we can be part
of change, although it is at our finger tips.
Let us develop platforms that will help people across Africa cross
the DIGITAL DIVIDE because only then will the world respect us. To
them we will have become a "MARKET" but to us we will have become a
strong people.
