Cool down, Kabaka Mutebi counsels Kiggundu

THE Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Mutebi (pictured), has asked former Greenland Bank managing director Dr. Suleiman Kiggundu, not let anger take the better of him.

Edris Kisambira reports that in a congratulatory message delivered for the Kabaka by Prince David Wasajja, the Kabaka said, I ask you not to let anger get the better of you because it will break you down. You need to stay strong and go on with you endeavours and I pray God gives you the strength and a new lease of life to go on.

As he delivered the message before a big crowd at Kiggundus late fathers home at Ntolomwe, Butambala in Mpigi district on Monday after Kiggundus Dhuwa prayers, Wasajja said the Kabaka had said Kiggundu had done a lot for Buganda including some of the things that we can see and those that we do not see and know.

In his address, Kiggundu thanked the Kabaka for what he had done for him while in Luzira Prison.

He said the Kabaka had sent him two messages urging him to be strong.

Sam Njuba and Joyce Ssebuggwawo of the Reform Agenda, JEEMA President Muhammed Kibirige Mayanja, ex-Mufti Sheikh Obeid Kamulegeya and Ahmed Mukasa were among the prominent people who attended the prayers.
