Museveni only brought kakooza back into the fold of military operation, after some of his main hatchet men, Drago Nyanzi, Suicide Brewerly, and john Gayira died. Karangwa and Chris Bunyenyezi (not the one from Namutamba) had also left for Rwanda. The last two are credited for the assasination of Ssemakula, a fierce fighter from Mutundwe.
