Mutale�s men raid EU offices

Kalangala Action Plan raided and took over offices housing the European Union Relief Programme staff in war torn Gulu three days ago.The offices fall directly under the Northern Uganda Reconstruction Programme in the Prime Minister�s office.
Minister of State for Northern Uganda Rehabilitation Programme Agardi Didi told The Monitor at Parliament, Tuesday that the Prime Minister�s office has already written to Kalangala Action Plan requesting them to vacate the premises before the end of year.
Aruu County MP Samuel Odonga Otto announced the invasion, Tuesday in Parliament.
Otto told Parliament that the occupants of the raided offices are in disarray.
Otto told The Monitor later that there is growing fear in Gulu that Kalangala Action Plan has detained about 100 people in the offices.
The offices are found on Church Road in Gulu near Acholi Inn.
The offices are used as the joint commander centre for Operation Iron Fist. Maj. Roland Kakooza Mutale and Lt. Col. Charles Otema are said to be in charge of the centre.
