Cmde Joseph Chinotimba replaced Cmde Hunzvi Chenjerai (Hitler) as the new Supremo of the War Veterans Association of Zimbabwe.
Besides being so instrumental in taking back our land, he also summarily, dismissed Rhodesian relic white Chief Justice Anthony Gubbay out of office.
Anthony Gubbay, as you remember, had set up himself to thwart the land reclamation exercise.
He is a no nonsense man this Chinotimba.
We wish him well at the Zanu-PF Central Committee.

Allow me, through your widely read newspaper, to express my congratulations to Cde Joseph Chinotimba for being elected into the Zanu-PF Central Committee at the just-ended Zanu-PF national conference held in Chinhoyi.
Indeed, the move had been very long overdue bearing in mind how immensely this man contributed to the successful conclusion of the land reform programme.
He spearheaded farm occupations at a time when others would dare not do that.
For this reason, the stance taken by the ruling party by electing him into the Central Committee should be applauded.
Furthermore, through the Zimbabwe Federation of Trade Unions, of which he is the vice-president, Cde Chinotimba is working tirelessly for the workers to be recognised in the private sector through better remuneration and working conditions.
I certainly believe his election into the Zanu-PF Central Committee will go a very long way in helping the party in many ways.
