The Rwandan people followed with admiration the peaceful conduct of the recent elections in your country, ushering in a new phase of consolidating Kenya's democracy, peace and prosperity. The Kenyan people must be hailed for the confidence and trust they have placed in your leadership. Over the years Kenya and Rwanda have developed friendly and fraternal relations and I would like to assure you that we will continue to work together to strengthen them even further in the interests of our people, our region and our continent, Africa.
