So if the EC was this corrupt how or what can we say of the out come of the elections they conducted? Can we safely say it was as a result of the true reflections of the people?

�The winner complained to us and we intervened,� Tumwesigye said.
He said that during the local government elections, the EC violated virtually all the laws and guidelines.
He said EC officials failed to account for funds and to adhere to financial regulations.
Tumwesigye said EC officials were operating questionable bank accounts that were not audited by the auditor general.

The Inspector General of Government (IGG), Jotham Tumwesigye has said that the former Electoral Commission under Aziz Kasujja, was corrupt. Tumwesigye was Jan. 10 presenting a paper on the fight against corruption with particular reference to the Electoral Commission.
