The UPDF have killed two wives
of (LRA) Commander Vincent Otti, second in command to Joseph
Kony.
The killing took place in the
course of a fierce battle between the UPDF and LRA in Patongo
last Firday 10th. Jan.03.
Lt. Paddy Akunda said
that those who escaped from Otti's fighting force informed the
UPDF that Otti wept on learning of the killing of his
wives.
Lt. Paddy Akunda-fourth
division spokesman and coordinator (linkman) between
the army and civilians, blamed the women (wives) of
rebels who continue to encourage their husbands to fight
against the government.
