Rwanda beats Ghana 1-0 to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations

Rwanda beat Ghana 1-0 on Sunday to clinch a group 13 spot in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana was favored to win but Rwanda dominated the match, creating numerous opportunities to score throughout.

The only goal came in the 52nd minute when Jimmy Gatete put the ball past Ghana's goalkeeper, George Owu.

Gatete almost scored in the 17th minute on a powerful shot that was saved by Owu.

Ghana's best chance came in the 10th minute when Charles Amoah had a clear shot at the
goal after receiving a pass from Augustin
Arhinful but was ruled offside.
