Traffic lights under repair
KAMPALA -- Traffic lights at Nakawa junction on Jinja Road will be repaired in August, the Ministry of Works-Japan-Uganda project coordinator, Godfrey Magara, said yesterday. The lights, installed in 2000 by Japan-based Konoike Construction Company, have been out of service for about five months due to lack of spare parts. Magara said the spare parts and engineers to repair the traffic lights would arrive in August.
