KONY REBELS KILL 30 SOLDIERS AND ABDUCT 20 CIVILIANS IN THE SAME DAY

There has been a terrible gun fight between government forces and rebels of the self-styled LRA (lord’s Resistance Army) near Apala (20 kilometres north of Lira, chief town of the district of the same name) in North Uganda, in an area inhabited by the ‘lango’ ethnic group. The news comes from MISNA sources, who specify that at least 30 regular army soldiers died in the fighting, while the number of dead among the rebels backed by the bloodthirsty Joseph Kony, founder of LRA, is unknown. The fighting, news of which arrived only today, broke out last Tuesday at 16.00 local time, and lasted for a couple of hours. In the morning of the same day, another group of ‘Olum’ (meaning ‘grass’, as the LRA rebels are known by the local people) sacked the small town of Ngai, which is populated by the same ‘lango’ ethnic group, about 10 kilometres from the Catholic mission of Iceme (50 kilometres west of Lira), killing one civilian and abducting at least 20 people. Religious sources from the Catholic diocese of Lira have expressed serious concern to MISNA about the deterioration of the situation in the ‘lango’ territory following the growing presence of rebels from the Acholi districts of Gulu, Kitgum and Pader.

When the Press in Uganda Confronted UPDF Spokeman Mr. Bantariza with the above.....guess what the man did..you guessed it.. He simply laughed!!! yupp he laughed ...as if to stay that the death of this 30 ugandan soldiers was something trivial... about which one can simply laugh...how insensitive. Anyhow, Bantariza further goes on to state that what MISNA is saying is not true.
Bantarazi expects the people of Uganda to believe him...( he who by the way has ZERO credibility) over what MISNA is saying !!! ( MISNA , as we all know has an impeccable CREDIBILITY) .
You have just read Howard Dean's remarks about CREDIBILITY AND TRUST as something that all governments ( including the NMRM dictatorship) should hold dear!
