Gulu Expels Kakooza and His Group

In their meeting last week to consider council matters and district
budget, GULU District Council resolved to chase Kalangala Action Plan
from Gulu.
Members are very angry with Kalangala Action Plan for illegally removing
many children out of the district to Matembe Institute in Luwero
District.
The chairman of Gulu District, Lt. Col. Walter Ochora informed the
councillors that he had written to Kakooza to come and answer questions
regarding the children. But he received no response.
Because of that the Gulu District council voted unanimously to expel
Kalangala Action Plan from Gulu. The motion was tabled by Patiko
sub-county councillor to address the grave act of this group.
