Boston-AP -- The Boston Archdiocese is revealing how it plans to come up with the (m) millions of dollars it's paying to victims of child-molesting priests.
The archdiocese agreed yesterday to pay 85 (m) million dollars to settle more than 500 lawsuits.
Archbishop Sean O'Malley says the church will not use money it collects from parishioners to honor the agreement. He says the archdiocese will take out loans and try to collect from its insurance companies. O'Malley also says more real estate holdings could be sold.
The archdiocese must deliver the money to the victims by the end of December.
