To now turn around and call upon the members of the so called IGAD to end Armed conflicts in the Great Lakes Region is rather unprecedented high degree of duplicity which the "minister" of region affairs, Nshimye Augustine, has and continues to display.
How can IGAD end Armed conflict when Museveni is busy warning Sudan the Regime in Kampala is likely to engage the Sudan in a Military confrontation.. If Sudan does not cease "supporting" the so called Rebels? Or what Museveni calls TERRORIST !

KAMPALA, Sept. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- Uganda on Wednesday urged the Inter-governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) members to end the intra and inter state conflicts that have resulted into massive loss of lives and displacement of people.
The call was made by Ugandan Minister of State for Regional Cooperation Nshimye Augustine when he was opening a one-day workshop on formation and engendering of the conflict, early warning and early response in Uganda at Nile Conference Center here.
Augustine was quoted by Radio Uganda as saying that the Uganda's Karamoja region bordering areas of Sudan, Ethiopia and Kenya has experienced lots of conflicts as a result of scarce resources.
He stressed that women are referral points in solving the causes and enhance the spread of conflicts.
He added that the development of the conflict, early warning and response mechanism is a welcome and timely intervention to resolve conflicts in the IGAD region.
IGAD is made up by Uganda, Kenya, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, the Sudan and Djibouti. Enditem
