Since July 2002, according to Rights Groups, at least five thousand people have been killed in Ituri. A Human Rights Watch report published mid this year insists that governments of Uganda, Rwanda and the DR. Congo are still arming the warring groups
In order to be taken as serious no nonsense organization set up to bring to justice those who abuse human rights in Africa; known culprits who have promoted Violence and massacres in Ituri; Known culprits who have armed militias proxies in Ituri region ....and released rather unleashed this proxies rebels to committe crimes aganist africans.. should be investigated .. And charged before the ICT with crimes against Humanity.
The likes of Yoweri Museveni, and his sycophants; we are talking here of Salim Saleh, Kazini, Otafiire should be the first in line to be investigated and charged.
Otherwise the ICT riskies being dismissed as yet another bankrupt UN bureaucratic entity.... Rather establishment which shies away from really dealing with issues of Human Rights in our time...
ICT will become yet another organization through which the " pot bellies of this world" so to say, enrich themselves.
