What made people so much interested in President Museveni's daughter flight to Germany?
I really paid no interest and attention in this story - since it is most certain that Museveni by his own character will not be bent by her daughter's luxurious needs and may be a scapegoat for NRM sins.
What Ugandans would have done in such instance, is to ask why should such story must have appeared and prompted a full president to write what I saw as a very childish and shallow letter in the public media?
Was it a cover up of some baleful happenings in the NRM camp?
The story goes that a colonel very near to NRM and indeed maybe one of the presidents confidant HIRED A FULL PLANE TO TRANSPORT HIS DEAR SWEET WIFE TO SOUTH AFRICA.
May be on his money but why is this rumor not refuted?
If power holder loose hold of state institutions - then the state has collapsed. I really don't know whether if NRM knows that it own have dominated hence rendered an civic duties impossible.
Just imagine that the common was not a hard working and committed person to his or her life - Uganda today will have stopped completely.
NRM is today only in words and seems to be completely divorced from the common going of the common people.
When a full president start tinkering with matter of the state in such a shallow manner as it so happened with the recent plane scandal - my observation are on the mark - NRM revolution has hit a brick wall.
The rest is history. The media tell us the truth and stop diverting from what actually happened.
