Museveni goes to USA

PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni yesterday left for the
United States of America for a week-long working visit.
Museveni, who
was accompanied by his wife, Janet, is in the US at the invitation of President
George Bush.
Museveni�s deputy press secretary, Onapito Ekomoloit, said
the president would hold meetings with US government officials and investors.
He said Museveni would also attend the launch of a film, �Royal Tours of
the Pearl of Africa,� shot by Discovery Channel. Museveni is the chief guide in
the film intended to promote Uganda�s tourism potential and positive aspects of
Africa. It�s launch is scheduled for today.
The president was seen off
by the Vice-President, Prof. Gilbert Bukenya.
