GOVERNMENT has rejected a request from Lango elders to deploy the United Nations peace keeping forces to fight Joseph Kony's rebels, state minister for defence Ruth Nankabirwa has said.
"The UPDF is a strong army with the capacity to defeat the rebels, she said.
The notion that the UPDF is strong enough and "with capacity to defeat " the so called rebels is pretty much nonsensical in view of the fact that the UPDF has been fighting the so called rebels for 18 now years.
......and while millions suffer, in Northern and Eastern Uganda , the likes Ruth Nankabirwa with her fellow NRM sycophants in Kampala pretty much pour cold water , so to say, on any appeal to members of the International Community to try and bring the suffering of our people to an end. This then is how insensitive this bloody NRM's have become.!
Fellow Citizens we only pray that the day of reckoning will come soon enough when the likes of Nakabirawa will be charged with crimes against Humanity in the courts of law in Uganda .
