VETERANS from Wakiso who fought in the Luweero Triangle during the National Resistance Army rebellion against the Obote 11 regime in the 1980's want to join the Arrow Group and fight the Kony rebels.
The district LC5 chairman, Ian Kyeyune, said the veterans were mobilising resources to help internally displaced persons in Teso region.
He told a conflict resolution workshop in Mukono yesterday that Wakiso residents were ready to join the Arrow Group and fight against the Lord's Resistance Army rebels wrecking havoc in the north.
