Closing in on AIDS?

Are we by any chance closing in on HIV/AIDS? No, we are not. The more we talk about it, and proclaim it, the more venomous and more deadly widespread it turns to be. It has become so intolerable with us that it is sort of killing everybody who steps in its way. This is in spite of a whole Professor of Management Practices coming to manage the campaigns against it.

Those who have heard of the HIV/AIDS say that there is no disease like it. For them, if anybody has to die by growing lean, it is because there is that old woman at home who is "doing him/her", to wit, bewitching him or her. They affirm that people do not grow lean and so die by heart when old ladies do not die as they should.... but the youth die out of turn... there is usually something fishy in there they cause death not AIDS.

So the HIV/AIDS Thing is cashing in. It is sort of catching everybody who would not listen to the Professors proclamation, which of late is tearing up our eardrums. We fear he may lose his voice in the process, and the old woman at home may perhaps wish too soon to do for him. May it never happen.

But if it does, nobody would be surprised. We hear those of some International Red Cross people who are proclaiming the HIV/AIDS pandemic are testing positive already to HIV/AIDS. It is no wonder. It often happens that those who say they are going to fight death, turn out to be the very people who carry the coffin It could be accidental not deliberate, any way.

But people are deliberately cashing in by the HIV/AIDS campaigns money. One formal campaigner used the money allocated to him to marry, and did in fact marry in the expensive way by way of the big wedding show he put up.

The other campaigner spent his allocation on a housing project. If HIV/AIDS has no cure by drugs, it cannot hope to have any cure by words. Such perversity is expected since HIV/AIDS comes about by some perverse sexual life.

And where sexual life is so perverse, and so heedless, what caution can the Condom exercise in order to put the killer HIVAIDS away. Indeed who tells whom that when we are sexually mad, which is the state of sexual perversity, we can be sexually intelligent which the insignificant condom can teach us: to be No, Sir!

The HIV/AIDS pandemic thing is not a disease of the condoms, knowing very well the psychology of the sex-predator who loves to sex about indiscriminately, and loves the sensation of it, and the ultimate conquest sexually of it all. Life could be all sensation for him, and death could easily be so.

The fact is that the predator should have his or her right to live by the way he or she chooses to order his or her life. Similarly, the HIV/AIDS campaigner has his or her rights to preach safe sexual conduct to him or her without setting up some barriers of some regulations to help him live off the HIV/AIDS thing where so far, the condom has been a failure.

We cannot tell with certainty the principles of Human Rights involved in the HIV/AIDS campaigns where so much is spent for negligible results, The statistics is astonishing. About one million people contact the HIV/AIDS disease every day worldwide. The total official count is in the region of over 40 million all the world over. Of the number, about 30 million AIDS patients have already died.

HIV/AIDS is a killer par excellence, which should be accommodated without the necessary means of setting it flushed out of the social system. No drugs have been discovered yet to cure it. The retroviral drugs only slows down its killer venom, and for how long?

AIDS is real. It has the potential of killing all the peoples of the world who have done so much to invite it into our midst, and are doing little or nothing to flush it out, in the practical way.

The condom is out. The other agents in the AIDS campaign like the institution of the AIDS awareness day during which prominent people in the society accept to walk cannot help us. It is only cosmetic, and falls short of our sense of urgency. AIDS is not a walking thing to play with it like children do with tennis balls in our streets.

And the AIDS patients do not need our hugging them and or kissing them besides. If they have their right to promiscuous sex, and have had it, they should as well have their right to be isolated by society, which does not need the AIDS, nor the AIDS patient who are being marched for sure to their graves. There should be limit to getting them the (un)necessary accommodation with us.

Cuba, Fidel Castros Cuba, has got that sense with very successful results, which is worth mentioning. In that country, HIV/AIDS test is obligatory, not mandatory. Accordingly, the negatives and the positives are separated. The positives are consigned to live in isolated camps where there is no way to slip out and spread the virus among the negatives.

In their exclusive camps, they can continue to live their promiscuous sexual life, enjoy such life, and die enjoying life all the same by choice, and right of their being . Too soon, when all the AIDS patients die, Cuba would have no AIDS people within its borders, at all . Human rights activists may raise eyebrows here but who claims what right to live in the free society when that right is so compromised by sexual ineptitude which leads to the spread of AIDS, and certain death, subsequently? We need to start thinking of our rights here all over again, since compelling one from contacting the HIV/AIDS disease is better than condoning in the spread of that pandemic disease!

If this is not so, why should the delegates to the All African Conference of Churches meeting in Cameroon recently voluntarily -accept to undergo the HIV/AIDS tests? Their example is outstanding, which must be commended, and be emulated.

It should lead us to another face, which is the face we have loved to see, in the fight to prevent AIDS from enslaving us to our death. It should be possible to enact the necessary laws to compel everybody to have the AIDS tests as often as it is possible to establish our HIV/AIDS status, for our own good.

In that case, it should be possible to carry about ones AIDS Identity Card, which should be obligatory. We must be seen to be serious with our lives, which are not given us only to be snatched away from us by HIV/AIDS disease.

We are saying that if we cannot lead responsible moral life, all avenues that open up to us for irresponsible moral and sexual life should be discouraged and or closed up by Law the law of safeguarding our right to live a wholesome and responsible moral life.

Accordingly, the drinking Bar business, the Guest House enterprises and related trades that easily stimulate irresponsible sexual life need to be outlawed. The AIDS war demands that, if we all wish to be seen to be serious with ourselves.

And so should prostitution be outlawed, and be severely punished as is done with defilement and rape cases. Society must sit up, to be in a position to rediscover our moral selves, or we cannot claim to be morally congruent with the order by which our world was specially made for our habitation. In that case, we got to leave the world in the prime of our lives through the whip of HIV/AIDS thing.

If our laws have the authority to try individuals who consciously infest their sexual partners with HIV/AIDS, (and there is the case of that nature pending in one of our High Courts) it should be possible to make all visitors of the tourist and the investor declare their HIV/AIDS status at the point of entry or be so tested before they are allowed to enter where the positive ones would be denied entry.

We definitely need the Tourist and Investors money but not his or her hidden sword of HIV/AIDS to kill us. Therefore, it should be possible for our investment code to require HIV/AIDS negative of our foreign investors. Good health in poverty should be preferred to the HIV/AIDS disease in riches, so to speak in our seriousness with AIDS prevention.

Under certain cultures, for safe sex and responsible sex at that, marriage life is encouraged. All those who are due by their age should marry. It is the societal norm. Therefore those who are due but for one reason or the other have to stay single for some time should be seen to stay single in fact throughout. In the old Islamic Societies for example, such people are made to fast 40 days continuously in every 90 days so that they remain pious, and free from indiscriminate sex.

The sex facility should be saved, and be so upheld. At least, it is the means of procreation which has been so ordered by the Creator God if we have to credit the Biblical Legend of the creation of man. We should be godly-wise, and not be wordly-foolish. And we are now proving foolish(?) hence the AIDS thing we tend to condone with by the use of unproductive prevention methods.

And was it not that self same wordly foolishness which Eve contracted and did infect Adam (still with our Biblical reference) that made them lose forever their wordly Heaven in the Biblical Garden of Eden? We must care about these things, especially with us human kinds who have the facility to know what is good from what is bad.

We cannot discuss the prevention of the HIV/AIDS pandemic without reference to some religion, although some other people may wish to forget the element of religion in our lives. But we need to be human; we need to be moral; we need to be righteous here in our earthly lives or for a long time to come HIV/AIDS, for example, will continue to plague our lives, and embarrass us so much with the undignified death we witness among us.

We are nowhere in the reckoning with the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Its invasion of our society world wide is total. May God save us, with the right prevention ideals if for one reason or the other the drug for its cure is hidden from us in the mean time.
