One of the things we as Uganda refugees
must always recognise, is the luck we have had in surviving in these nations.
Although many at home think that we are living an exclusive life here, it is
actually very tough to live and survive in these nations. The weather is
pathetic and the food is very terrible. So it is only fair that we must
recognise when one of ours get blessed with a whole year of life in such
circumstances.
And in that same process, I am here-by
inviting Ugandans and friends of Uganda, to join me in recognizing one of my
best friends in Toronto on his birth-day that has taken place on this
weekend, and non other than Omwaami Chris Okum-Opoka.
Happy 50th birthday Ssebo. May many
more follow this one. Just promise me that we will celebrate the next one
in Uganda, for that will be good enough for me.
