We have carefully considered all
the arguments made in favour of indefinite eligibility to the office of the
President. We are not satisfied that enough justifications exist
for removing the two term limit. We have given reasons in response to the
arguments. We have also taken into account the fact that: the experience,
concerns and fears behind the limit are still valid; there appears no real
likelihood of constitutional disruption if the current position is maintained;
the people who recognise their power under the constitution decided for good
reasons on all the parameters for the exercise of power. The provision has not
