Ugandan men are disgusting

Uganda is a poor country. That is why government cannot pay a living allowance for the many unemployed. I have all these years, been conducting a survey, and found out that Uganda holds the record in terms of the number of idle masses. On Monday and Tuesday, I spent some time making an observation at the construction site of Wankulukuku road. People arrive at the road as early as 6 a.m and leave at 7 pm. Do not think the construction company employs all of them. No. These people just go there to look at the construction equipment and how it operates. And even if given the opportunity to be employed at Shs 3,000 they won't accept the offer. In fact the company's workers were all day looking for food to buy. None of these people idling around thought of the idea of making a make shift eating-place. Construction of the road could go up to five months. How much would any investor make in that time? Any enterprising person would have reaped millions of shillings in this short period. That is why I do not buy ideas from young women today, who prefer sex work to earn a living. Ugandans should stop idling all the time. Many young men leave their homes just to waste the whole day arguing whether President Yoweri Museveni is richer than footballer David Beckham. Their work is to make ugly remarks about each passing woman. They even go an extra mile trying to fondle ladies' breasts. Such are the kind of men we have in this country. Sometimes I feel ashamed that I am part of this shameful sex. Of course there are some good men out there, but the majority of Ugandan men fall under this nasty category; the kind of men who are not ashamed of swearing in public. Such are the men who think telling everybody at the top of your voices, about the number of bottles of beer they drank the night before is fashionable. Men who think it is cool to discuss the number of mistresses they have or just how 'sweet' or 'terrible' their girlfriends are in bed, have no space in our society. If you think I am just grumbling, just go to Owino market or any downtown place and you will prove me right. Why should anyone mind about what another is wearing, for instance? If you want to be real men, then stop such habit and I will stop despising you. In fact I support women who go for foreign men instead of the disgusting Ugandans. I wish all the few nice men out there, a good day. |
