Pastor-politician, with divine mandate to rule Nigeria in line with his strong belief in generational change, Reverend Chris Okotie, who lost the last April 19 presidential elections, is yet to give up the fight. This time what he lost via the ballot box, he hopes to claim through what he described as a recall of incumbent President Olusegun Obasanjo. The term may be sound alien. But the preacher is determined to actualise his dream of presiding over the affairs of the nation. In this interview with SAM EYOBOKA, he called on Nigerians to be patient as there is light at the end of the tunnel which will soon blaze forth. He also sees Anthony Cardinal Okogieâs recent elevation as a plus for the struggle of the masses. Excerpts.
Nigeria is pretty much a disgrace...This is a nation with tremendous oil resources. Managed properly, Nigeria has the potential and could be one an African Supper power to be reckoned with. Nigeria could have lifted the pride of many of us Africans.
But then what do you have a bunch of bone head, tribal minded politicians (I hear Ibo vis Yuroba, Hausa vis Ibo, Ibo vis Yoruba ) Whose sole mission seems to be a competition as to who can steal more public funds.
I split in Disguse!!!
