GORILLAS MAKING A COMEBACK A new census conducted in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo showed that the mountain gorilla population, whose dwindling numbers had raised fears of extinction 25 years ago, has grown by 17 percent since 1989, according to the Wildlife Conservation Society.    Somini Sengupta (NYT)
