The Lado Enclave, as a cohesive cultural-political entity in the past or currently, exists only in the imagination of Captain John Agami and his followers. Originating in the period of European Scramble for Africa, this phrase doesn't really feature in the power calculus of Mr. Kony, or any of the other leaders of rebel movements that have sprouted in northern Uganda since 1980.

This topic was discussed on Ugandanet four or five years ago. I wonder if anyone has the archives to help this sister.

The Kingdom of Lado: http://www.npi-news.dk/pages37.htm ??
About the Luo, Luu, Lui, Lue, Lendu, Lugbara, Kakwa, and "Nubians" being tribes of the Lado Kingdom. Is this true?? Could this really be the reason behind the Northern war for all this time??
Can someone please help out?? I'm seeking knowledge. It took me alot of internet searching to get to this part of our African History, which I've never been taught anywhere in the Ugandan history books.
Should we let the "North" succeed from Uganda (an imaginary colonical entity)??
