Parties should be cautious

I wish to comment on the on-going talks between political parties and the Movement Government. I would like to caution the parties that they might be digging their own grave. In the past, they sought audience with the government but failed. Now that President Museveni has smelt a possibility of the political parties uniting to oust him, he is initiating talks with them. My advice to the parties is that they may not boycott the talks or sever relations with the Movement, but again, be cautious.

"The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the state."
