Forget about what others say about UPC's support for Federalism
and giving the Kabaka some meat on the skeletal Kingdom that he
now presides over.
When this institution i.e the cultural institution underwhich the Kabaka's
description and domain falls, Dr.Paul Kawanga Ssemwogerere was the
second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs in the NRM government.
It is very hard to imagine he never had an inkling in the toothlessness
of this quasi Kingdom/the Kabaka. That 9 years later he pronounces
that he wants to fight on behalf of the King for what is duly his afterall
is the limit of intellectual dishonesty and outright hypocrisy on his part.
BUT then,unlike the UPC leader he is a MUGANDA and thus they welcome him even if he need not have stated that.
I think the Baganda should accept the Federalism for Buganda that Mu7
is dangling before them and stop believing that through the veneer of posturing about Federalism for all UGANDA every other than them do
not see through this hypocrisy.
Mu7 has been their Man for the past 18 years and there is no reason under the Sun to abandon him at this eleventh hour!.
Most of them afterall think that they hold the monopoly of anger and being wronged so why not live true to their base nature?.
