SHARING LOVE: The Nabagereka talks to Sanyu babies |

AS Ugandans celebrated Valentine�s Day yesterday, the Nabagereka of Buganda, Lady Sylvia Nagginda, visited Sanyu and Nsambya babies homes to share the day with vulnerable children.
At Nsambya, Nagginda was visibly touched when she was showed one of the youngest babies of the home who was abandoned at Nsambya cemetery.
She cuddled the light skinned tiny baby, nearly two months old now, and named her Noel Katrina Nassejje.
Nassejje now shares a name with Nagginda�s daughter, Katrina.
The name Nasejje belongs to members of the musu clan to which Nagginda belongs
A mother at the home, Florence Amuron, said the baby who is yet to be christened was discovered on December 22, 2003 in the cemetery.
She described the girl as healthy and very bright.
Nagginda donated cheques and an assortment of items to the two homes.
Both homes currently look after 60 children.
At Nsambya, the Nabagereka toured various projects th
at support the home.
She said it was sad to see that parents abandoning their children. However, she said it was also good to note that there are people are determined to give the children a home and the care they need.
The Rev. Can. Nelson Kaweesa, on behalf of the board of Sanyu babies Home commended Nagginda for the love she has for Uganda�s children. He urged her to be an advocate to ensure that all the abandoned children are catered for. He thanked the Kabaka for the support he gives to the home.
