(a) Museveni arrived in East Lira hours before the massacres.
(b) The Concentration Camp had UPDF soldiers and 37 Amuka militiamen.
(c) UPDF soldiers left the camp before the attacks but without their commander.
(d) All Amuka units in Lango are commanded by the UPDF who also decide the size of a unit.
(e) The Camp had 5000 inmates of whom the bodies of 206 dead have been counted and 30 Amuka men were also massacred.
(f) The attackers stripped the UPDF Commander of his uniform and set him to flee and he is now reported to have arrived in Lira barracks.
We cannot ofcourse explain all the above? may be the NRM and dictator Museveni can provide us with more answers to the rather weird circumstance above

"The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the state."
- Dr. Joseph M. Goebbels - Hitler's propaganda minister
