LONDON - British Prime Minister Tony Blair announced he was setting up an international commission to propose solutions to Africa's problems.
The move comes roughly three years after Blair sought to draw attention to the continent's problems by describing Africa as the "scar on the conscience of the world."

The commission should also look at Britian's role in Creating confict in Africa. For instance, Britain's played a major ( by supporting Yoweri Museveni) in creating distablization in the Great Lakes Region of Africa. i.e Rwanda, Burundi, DRC Congo, Uganda, Sudan, If, at the end of the day, the so called commission cannot seriously look into Britain's role in creating conflict, and issue appropriate recommendation , such commission should be dismissed as nothing other then HOT AIR.
