Interesting times for Mu7 lies ahead.
The problem is that Mu7 has always underestimated
other people's intelligence, thinking they are as pedastal
as his.
Those days when George Kanyeihamba was serving as
a dyed in the coat Movementist,he was the show piece
of how enlightened the Movement leaders were. All others
especially those whose crime was to have served Uganda
in various capacities but not under the tutelage of Mu7 were
either swines,or frogs.
Today when Kanyeihamba exercises the powers of his
intelligence in advising the nation, umsonst, all of a sudden,he
has become unfit to be a judge. Is George Orwells'Animal satire
catching up with Mu7's regime??.
Mu7's perceived omniscience  has all of a sudden vanished just
a like a mirage!.
It is a pity that in the 21st Century,Uganda should still be ruled by
retrogressive quasi intellectuals like Mu7 and that is exactly where
the problem lies.Mu7 ab initio has never had any democratic virtues
infact what many misguided  people see as elements of democratic
culture in him have been there own rationalizations of who and what
Mu7 is.He is a primitive autocratic who believes that everything in the
universe should happen at his behest.
He forgets one  cardinal thing, and that like all Ugandans, elites and the
so called peasants he claims to be fighting for,he too bathes with
water.
When these primitive autocrats are put under the political microscope
they very readily sublime into their true nature and that is where Mu7
is at the moment.
Lets' keep our ears to the ground as Mu7's veneer of deceptions get
peeled off layer by layer, for he has discovered that his music is no
longer in tune with most of the Ugandans.
Thank you.

According to newspaper reports, the President of Uganda, H.E Yoweri Museveni said that Dr Kanyeihamba is unfit as a judge.   The unfit judge has helped to author constitutions of many a country and what he said was merely interpreting the constitution of Uganda and simplified the simple that is where the problem is;  and it is apparent that not everyone got the point.

If Dr Kanyeihamba is unfit as a judge in Uganda, then who is?

Hon. Justice Dr. G. W. Kanyeihamba, popularly known as the Professor is so far the only PhD in the Uganda Judiciary, to have been a legal practitioner, to have been appointed Professor of Law and to have held high offices in all the three branches of government namely, parliament, the executive and the judiciary.

Profiling the justices of the Supreme Court recently (April, 2001) The "Sunday New Vision" described Prof. Kanyeihamba as a scholar and a good case study of a principled and impartial judge. In his commentary of
5th June, 2000, published in the "Monitor" newspaper, Munini Mulera of Toronto observed,

"But the thought of Justice George Kanyeihamba, a pillar of the National Resistance Movement, exercising his professional and legal independence, to find in favour of his former political opponents, is simply too delicious for words."

In an editorial by New Vision after false accusations that Prof. Kanyeihamba had been seen in the company of a litigant possibly discussing a case before the Supreme Court, the editor observed,

"Although he had not accepted anything, he felt the allegation had compromised him. Kanyeihamba's rectitude in this case is not only a shining example to his colleagues but a demonstration that many judges still retain the highest ethical standards."

Justice Dr. Kanyeihamba was always amongst the top students at educational institutions such as
Kigezi High School, Busoga College, Mwiri and Norwich City College in England; where he did his early schooling. At Mwiri he was one of the few selected students to sit for the "O" Level School Certificate a year before the completion of the course at this level and was the only one who obtained Grade "A" Cambridge School Certificate when the results were published. His honours as a scholar thereafter included a Commonwealth Scholarship which he utilised at Warwich University where he obtained a Ph..D which was a first ever in law in that University Prof. Kanyeihamba has been a prolific writer on law and politics. His works include the leading university textbook called "Constitutional Law and Government in Uganda" for which he is currently preparing a second edition.
