Trust me, I was very stupid and so easy for any man to control, use and abuse but this was four years ago. After a nightmarish experience, my brain cells went on a hot pursuit of answers to too many "Whys."  The answers to these "Whys", which did not make sense from a woman's perspective, gave birth to me in 2001. That was when I discovered that I had truly been severely brainwashed by African culture so that I neglect myself and my life to take care for a man. I have been angry ever since and believe me, I intend to break the cycle of this brainwashing of little girls so that we are easy to control, use and abuse by men. Culture and tradition is nothing more than a cult where young girls are drafted to be used and abused by husbands. This is clearly accomplished under the disguise of repeated praise of culture a nd tradition and/or religion, which by the way, leave boys to grow as if they still live in the caves. Only women can put an end to this.

I am very committed to breaking this cycle and it would be my the best contribution to the woman race. For my generation, this is it!

Thanks Lisa. Hope to see you in our first meeting in May.
