Subject: [Mwananchi] Dictator Paul Kagame's Unfair Imprisonment
which Is Unwarranted Paul Kagame the Prime Minister of Rwanda has to realize that his current political office is not a permanent. When he took power he promised the Rwandans reconciliation and political maturity in his government. The Prime Minister now has turned around and started cat and mouse fight to the people who are moderate Hutus. This is not solving the political dilemma in Rwanda but inciting and infringing the innocent people and heaping hatred and tribalism. Dictator Paul Kagame has decided to abuse that same Law he pledged to protect and enforce. He has decided to abuse the Law he claimed was being abused before he took power. Dictator Paul Kagame has decided now to ignite tribalism which broke the world record of Civil wars and ethnic violence before he took office. Dictator Paul Kagame has decided to deny political freedom by forming other parties, he has decided to prosecute his political enemies in fear of losing popularity and power. He is using tax payer's money to undermine human rights without civility yet donor countries pledge for civil rights in accordance to democracy. This is not only a political abuse but abuse to democracy in Rwanda and Africa. While most dictators have disappeared from politics in Africa; Donor countries are grooming young dictators like Paul Kagame the illegitimacy of denying a political opposition party in Rwanda the right of existence. The former Rwandans President Bizimungu has been jailed to suppress his political ambition along with his friend the former minister. The two witnesses against them have given each opinions of being coached what to say in court. Dictator Paul Kagame's witnesses one has said that he was scared with police harassment and then giving false claim in the court of Law to avoid intimidation from police. This is the type of government Dictator Paul Kagame heads, this is the Judiciary which the international community is expected to respect. Significantly enough, it is a game to destabilize opposition and mistreat their leaders. This may be called abuse of office which leads to misuse of power. By and large, donor countries should not tolerate from this juncture the arrest, prosecution and imprisonment of political opponents in Rwanda. Dictator Paul Kagame has to understand that he is not a life president in Rwanda. Secondly, he has to conceive in mind that nowhere in the third world countries will he run after office to hide himself to avoid trial and prosecution for mistreating his political opponents. Donor countries should inform dictator Paul Kagame to give the former president freedom or executive pardon to avoid backlash in the near future after he leaves office. Africa's democracy again has been a shamed by a man who claimed to bring transparency and Justice to Rwandans; Instead he has carpeted himself in a political hatred and jealousy with end results after office same.
