Subject: ugnet_: Wake up to reality Oryem

Dear friends,

It is me who is the loser, with these m7's clowns . Big time loser, me.

I sacrificed my youth teaching these fellows. That may be that would
make a
difference!!

And since a teacher's pay in Uganda is a sick joke, one's only
motivation
is hope for a better Uganda/Africa.

Now take this former student of mine, State Minister for Sports, Mr
Henry
Okello Oryem, an Acholi saying "Museveni is the only leader who has
given
Uganda peace and prosperity".

am I supposed to laugh or cry?

Vice President Dr Specioza Wandira Kazibwe, too, walked away with US$ 23

million of 'cattle dam' money that was supposed to help 'wananchi'. She
too
was my student.

>From the look of things, I can only conclude that I was a baffoon to
have
willingly offered my youth.

I was used!!

I wish I had put that effort in making some money.

When my mother was dying I never had even a coin to avail her proper
medical
attention let alone buying her a blanket to cover her aching bones, in
the
last moments of her life.

It makes me feel awful remembering her lifelong effort to pick the
coffee,
sell off her 'Nakizalizi' goats; for that is how she raised money there
in
Masaka to send me to school.

I beg all of you to forgive me for going so personal this time. But
Henry
Okello Oryem makes me sad and very ashamed!!

Wake up to reality Oryem

Addressing residents of Kisenyi recently, the State Minister for Sports,
Mr
Henry Okello Oryem with much audacity told his audience to support
attempts
to give President Yoweri Museveni a third term. According to Oryem,
Museveni
is the only leader who has given Uganda peace and prosperity.

Oryem's words remind me of the proverbial bastard who showered praises
on a
man who killed his father and married his mother. What stability and
peace
is Oryem talking about? Has he got drunk in the pomp and cosiness of the

Movement confusion as to forget so recent blood bath in Barlonyo, Abia,
Acol
pii, Atiak and Apac?

Or is he oblivious of the over 2 million people starving in IDP camps in

Lango and Acholi and the fact that young girls and mothers are peddling
flesh to the soldier's to earn a living?

How can Oryem, an Acholi know of peace when recently Ms Dora Byamukama's

(Mwenge South) tabled a motion calling on Parliament to declare northern

Uganda a disaster area. Oryem should have a chat with Ms Betty Akech, Ms

Betty Amongi, Mr Okullo Epak, Mr Jacob Oulayah and other sons of the
soil
next time he meets them to toast over the peace, stability and
prosperity
ushered in by Mr Museveni. Meantime, remember what the soothsayer once
told
Julius Caesar; "beware the Ides of March".

Ocoromac T. Nume,
IDP camp, Lira.
