UGANDA has appealed to the DR Congo government to prevail on the armed groups which
have in the past attacked Kisoro district, looting animals, food staffs and household
property.

Kisoro resident district commissioner David Masereka was recently addressing a
Congolese delegation at Bunagana border post.

The delegation was led by the North Kivu governor Eugene Serufuli.

He said Uganda would not tolerant any more attacks in its territory.
