THE UPDF 4th Division commander, Col. Nathan Mugisha, has said the country does not
need any assistance from the international community to end the Lord's Resistance Army
(LRA) rebellion in the north.
"We can solve this problem once we are united. Let us borrow the example of the Sudan
government and the SPLA. They are soon signing a peace deal," he said.
Mugisha was recently talking in his office to former LRA chiefs who defected to the
Army.
