Fellow citizens:

Is it not rather totally ironic, to say the less, that it would take 18 years of war
in Northern and Eastern Uganda before the so called imperialist and neocolonilist
mascarading as Humanitarians to show any iota of concern or "worry" about the
situation in Northern/ Eastern Uganda. As far as I am concerned the International
community can go to hell...we do not need their "worries" and or "concerns"

We know that our country is being destroyed by the NRM before our very eyes. The NRM
has and continues to fight wars for now 18 years. ..and in the proccess of fighting
this wars , the NRM has visted enormous death and destruction on our people. Like I
have said before, the line is now drawn. Museveni and his goons deserve nothing short
of the Samueal doe treatement.... Like Samuel doo this goons should be unclothed
naked That will make my day!!!

The Irish Ambassador, Mr Mairtin O'Fainin, on Tuesday said the International Community
is concerned about the northern rebellion that has claimed thousands of lives and
displaced over one million people from their homes.

"The great tragedy in northern Uganda has captured the attention of the world. We
stand firm in peaceful resolution of the 18- year-old conflict," he said.

Fainin said this while meeting the Northern Uganda Education Forum members at Gulu
Core Primary Teachers College, three kms northeast of Gulu town.

The forum comprises the Education Funding Agencies and local leaders from Masindi,
Kitgum, Pader, Apac, Lira and Gulu districts.

Fainin called upon the government and the rebels to find a lasting solution to the
fighting. He said the north does not benefit much from the money donors inject into
Uganda.

Gulu District Secretary for Education, Mr Odoch Athi, called for alternative basic
education funding agencies to benefit former Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels who
have surrendered.
