I am trying and hard to understand this Konny issue, you see we have to agree that we either have a Konny operating in Northern Uganda based in Sudan, or agree that Konny is a creation of NRM. Because by agreeing with one of those two we will have a problem on our table that we can look for solutions for. Than staying in space when our people continue to die.
And that is why I decided to now cut down on this Northern Uganda war because I seem to be all alone, many believe that Museveni is fighting a war with a living fighter in Southern Sudan cave. Who has the ability to be mobile than UPDF for 20 years. I was one of those who pushed hard for an international Intervention into Northern Uganda, the moment it was posted on the UN website , Uganda started to oppose any one's involvement for the war is about to end.

May be just may be we should all just attend up and declare Uganda government as the killers of our people, and may be we do not need to prove the existence of Konny, may be it is Uganda government's duty to prove to us his existence? This is a war which has gone on pass 20 years today, and I do not care if the government is winning or loosing, we just need another look at it with a different leadership. We have babies born in camps who are parents today. What is the long term effect to Uganda as a society? And how do we put these Ugandans born as IDP members who are adults today back into society?

Oh man it just gets to me.

"Kony",and his "rebels", we may assume , is like the wind..that is to say "Kony" is everywhere and yet "Kony"  no where. Kony is in Katakwi, Kapyeloibong, Lira, Kotido, Ajumani., Pader, Soroti,Kumi,Kitgum Matidi, Kithgum Madi...just everywhere .

Many have even suggested that Kony" Occupies Yoweri Museveni's  State House ( I think it was Byanima who said that)  Museveni told us there were two hundred "kony" rebels remaining,Meanwhile another NRM sycophant called Nagenda was busy lying to the BBC News Anchorman that the UPDF would finished "Kony" in three months...and now we here "kony" has driven 34,000 Sudanese refugees to Uganda!!!! In this days of the NRM you simply do not know what to believe anymore.

If Bin laden can hide in a cave from the strongest nation in earth, and we have 25 million dollars on his dead if dead or alive, why can't Uganda create Konny a man who can be any where? I was in Uganda when a car which had an accident long ago and parked in Nakasero, a car many of us knew, was reintroduced on Uganda television as the car that musa was driving when he was taking the Luwum's and Oryema's to State research.

That is why I  laugh when people buy the Konny story, for governments can create any name any thing when ever it is politically prudent. And destabilizing Northern Uganda, is to NRM.

Is 'Kony' now operating so deep in Sudan that refugees from him run to Uganda
?  Was it not claimed two weeks ago that the war is nearly over so there is no need to declare N.Uganda a disaster area ?

32,000 flee Kony raids
By Jude Luggya
Nov 16, 2004

KAMPALA - At least 32,000 Sudanese refugees have crossed into Uganda following increasing raids on their villages by the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels led by Joseph Kony.

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) said in a statement on Friday that the refugees had settled in the West Nile districts of Moyo, Adjumani, Yumbe and Arua.

The new arrivals are part of an upward trend since the refugee numbers have been growing higher in the past months with another 1,000 refugees registered in September this year.
The Sudanese Peoples Liberation Army (SPLA) and the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) have in the past months destroyed LRA bases in southern Sudan.

There are reports that SPLA fighters have been bringing their wives and children to refugee camps in Uganda to keep them away from frontlines as they intensify their offensive against the LRA in the Su dan.

The UNHCR spokesperson, Mr Dennis Duncan, said the upward trend of refugee influx was likely to continue yet the agency was running out of resources.
Unfortunately, we are at the end of our budget line for 2004. So all facets of our programming including schooling, medical assistance and housing will be stretched to the limit, Duncan said.
