Mr. Walker, you joined ugandanet which is a country specific discussion
forum and I would have thought that you did so because you were interested
in issues pertaining to that particular country. If, as you say, you are not
interested in country specific stuff, what exactly was your motive of
joining ugandanet ?

First,
I was placed into ugandanet, I did not initiate my membership.   Indeed, I had never heard of the ugandanet, and as such I not only knew nothing of it, but I would have had no idea of how one would join the group.  I have said this before, so either you missed that statement, or you where not in the group or something.  At any rate since I did not initiate the membership, I can only conclude that I was inducted because of my work on other groups, that is the advocacy of Pan-Africanism.

Secondly,
I note that many members of the group have expressed opionions on subjects that are NOT related to Uganda specifically from the WIlliams sisters to Obama.

Third.

I answered your question, I gave you my opinion; that is whether Uganada is federal, confederal or some other configuration, the key thing would be the degree of unity of the people, and hence the degree of consciousness of the people,  which would determine the degree to which popular democracy would reign in Uganda.

I do not how I could be more explicit.  So in point of fact I did answer your question, so I can only conclude that you did not get the answer you wanted; but the only honest answer I could give you, since I am not a citizen of Uganda, is a generic prescription / description of the necessity to struggle for a system that is nationalist, democratic and socially just.

If you can understand that, then you will understand my sole purpose for honoring my membership in this group, that is to propagate Pan-Africanism, which is wholly consistent with true democracy and social justice.  Beyond that I have no interest in any group, virtual or concrete,
