Let us put things in proper perspective here, Much as we all want peace in Northern Uganda, a question which manuy of us would like the Nucio to address is: were was the Nucio, and the people he represents, when Museveni's soldiers were raping old acholi women and men? in most cases right infront of the childrenn of this old women and men. ? who has not heard of GUNG GUNG ( or bend over) performed ny the UPDF on our people. Talk about hoodwinking Ugandans. When Hitler was Murdering the Jews, the catholic church looked the other way. This Nucio, and the rest should stand on principles.
It is only lately that the Likes of cardinal Wamala who even began to make noise about the suffering of people in Northern Uganda...otherwise they were simply enjoying the peace ushered in by the NRM visionary leadership!... There I have said it!!

Pronucio prays for LRA war end

THE Vatican Ambassador (Pronucio) has urged the Lord�s Resistance Army (LRA) and the Government to strive to end the war in northern Uganda which has wrecked havoc in the region.
�It is absurd that the LRA and the Government are fighting in the north. This has contributed to low development of the region,� Archbishop Cristophe Pierre said.
He said, �It is very unfortunate that the peace process collapsed again but we still have hope in the Government and believe that the rebels will allow peace to return in the area,� he said.
Pierre was addressing Moyo district leaders in Moyo town hall on Tuesday.
The district LC5 chairman, Peter Iku Dolo, asked the Government to speed up the peace process.
He appealed to the Moyo community to embark on agriculture, saying it was the main source of income for the country.

by the LRA in Adjumani on June 17, 2003.
