Museveni and his Goons rather sycophantic follwers in the NRM would have us believe that "KONY" is like the the bird Pheonix- just when you think that phoenix is dead, it rises from the ashes, and flies high once more..either that or we are back at the premise that it is the UPDF killing citizens in Northern Uganda even as we have consistently and over time argued in this forum. The Ugandan MP whose brother was killed, it does appear based on his statement below, ( see the quote) is now also beginning to doubt whether the "rebels' are really " Kony rebels" ..and not UPDF troops masscarading as "rebels"

I believe that the Killing of the MP's brother was nothing other then a deliberate act to try and intimidate the MP to vote wisely and for Museveni's KISANGA Project.. More of such killings are yet to come. You will be seating in Kampala there meanwhile you relative(s) have disappeared thanx to (UPDF= KONY)

A brother to the Member of Parliament for Erute south county, and two other people were on Wednesday killed in a night raid by rebels of the Lords Resistance Army led by Joseph Kony.

David Livingstone Apunyo, 60, a brother to Mr Charles Angiro Gutmoi, was killed at 10:00pm on Wednesday when about 11 rebels entered the MP's home in Tekulu village in Aromo Sub County.

MP Angiro told The Monitor that the rebels tortured his brother to death.

"That is if they are really rebels, they entered my home and killed my brother last night before crossing into neighbouring Walela parish where they killed two others," he said.

The two have been identified as James Odic, 30, and Okello Aryono, 25.

The army has confirmed the incident but blamed the deceased for staying deep in the villages without security.

The UPDF 403 Brigade Spokesman, Lt. Hebert Turyamwijuka, said the villages were not yet safe.

"Its true the rebels committed atrocities in the area but to a small extent it's the dead to blame.

The villages are not yet safe for their (civilian) stay," he warned.

Meanwhile, the UPDF 81st Brigade at Paluda has killed three rebels and dug up the rebels' supplies in an operation, the army said on Thursday.

The army's 403-Brigade spokesman, Lt. Hebert Turyamwijuka, said yesterday the forces killed three rebels, captured one and recovered four sub machine guns.

He said another rebel, Sgt. Opobo reported to the army's detach at Palabek-kal with one gun and six magazines of ammunition.

He said an operation conducted in Paluda also discovered several medical and food supplies buried underground.

The items unearthed include: 20 bags of dry cassava, 300 tablets of Panadol, 8 boxes of sealed PPF injections, 8 bombs for 82 mm, one stick grenade and 62 rounds of PK gun.

"We are certainly closing in on the rebels and if they dodge the barrel, they won't escape sicknesses now that we have taken their medical supplies," Lt Turyamwijuka told The Monitor.
