Surely this country has gone to the dogs. And for people to stand on their two legs and thump their chests that Uganda is developing needs a lot of courage, and absolute lack of shame.
For the Ministry of Health to buy pickup trucks and christen them ambulances is beyond shame - it is unabashed thievery of profound proportions, for which this government is well known.

How can we say we are developmental when we take two steps forward and take five backwards? How can conscientious officials make such a damning decision? Was it for a cut?
We need to make these people accountable for shortchanging us. We need to investigate the circustances under which a government that pretends to care so much for its people, decides to buy them wheelbarrows for transporting their sick, as if those wheelbarrows were any cheaper.
Triple shame!
