Former External Security Organisation Director General, Mr David Pulkol, has said he was frustrated while he headed the intelligence body.
"For instance in the LRA war, we would struggle and gather intelligence including the whereabouts of LRA leader Joseph Kony. We would then pass over the information to the UPDF but to our dismay, they would return with flimsy excuses," Pulkol said on Saturday night.

He was appearing on a radio talk show in Mbale.
"At times they would come back with walking sticks of rebel commanders," said.
|
He was responding to the callers' demands for him to accept collective responsibility for the unending rebellion in the north.
The Army Spokesman, Maj. Shaban Bantariza, dismissedPulkol's claims. "He must be politically sick," he said.
