Well, I think it is pretty obvious that either something is wrong with the "oppopnents" or the opponents are not opponents enough. With all legal facilities Uganda provide, they should know better how to structure their opposition. They have to learn to do it correctly and for real. Otherwise they are no opponents, aha aha!
As for the so called war in the North I have never really regarded it as a war situation. A few top LRA-strategists and tacticians have crossed over. They should know better. Looks like they are eluding justice. Perhaps that explains some of the mysteries.

In Uganda, President Yoweri Museveni, who is seeking ways to repeal constitutional limits that would force him to leave office in 2006, has intimidated and tortured his political opponents. He is also fighting a war against rebels in the north, where more than 1.3 million war-affected civilians have been displaced. The Bush administration must ensure that Mr. Museveni does not interpret continuing U.S. support, including military assistance, as a blank check to violate civil and political rights and avoid his responsibility to protect civilians in the north. George: Your comments please on the above?..you will be but..what should I say... fill in the blanks, if in view of the facts above, you still insist that US Imperalism and Neo-colonislism has nothing to do with propping up African Dicta
