THE Army Commander, Lt. Gen. Aronda Nyakai-rima has threatened to arrest a Comboni missionary in northern Uganda, Father Carlos Rodriguez, for claiming that the UPDF were recruiting children.
"He comes every evening to the barracks looking for under-age soldiers. I am telling UPDF commanders to arrest him if he comes without permission," an angry Aronda told journalists at a news conference yesterday.

"We are not short of fighters and we want children at school," Aronda said.
